The Mussel Shack
The Scottish Shellfish Marketing Group requested 2 options for a new brand for the packaging of frozen mussels specifically for Costco stores. Two flavours were to be sold and easily distinguishable; white wine sauce and garlic butter sauce. Although a frozen product,the packaging should still appear premium, retailing at £5, but not include a window into the product.
The first concept developed was clean and simple in style using mussel photography to sell its contents. The Mussel Shack logo was designed to look like a sign that might be found outside an authentic seaside shack. Colour and photography is used to show a fast comparison between the available flavours.
